Why join the BCPS?

The British Connemara Pony Society exists to protect and enhance the Connemara breed within Great Britain,  the Channel Islands and Isle of Man. By joining the BCPS, you will be able to:

• Keep up-to-date with the Connemara Breed and vote on issues affecting the breed*
• Register your Connemara breeding stock
• Participate in the Performance Award Scheme; a competition for Registered Connemara Ponies and Registered Part-Bred Connemara ponies/horses gaining the highest number of points from all types of ridden and driven activities.

* Voting rights apply to selected membership types.

Membership Payment

Payment for membership of the British Connemara Pony Society consists of a one-off Joining Fee followed by an Annual Subscription payment due on 1st January each year. For age-related memberships, the age is calculated on 1st January.

** Performance Membership is for participation in the Eventing League/Dressage Final only.  No members or voting rights.  No Chronicle.  No discounts on other services.

*Associates no members or voting rights.  Receive a chronicle

#Honorary, Overseas & Juniors have members’ rights but no voting rights.  Honorary and Juniors receive a chronicle.
