O'Malley Award

We are delighted to announce that Miss Blanche Miller of the Rosenaharley Stud has been awarded the Michael J. O’Malley Award by the International Committee of Connemara Ponies (ICCPS). This award is given to an International owner or breeder who has selflessly promoted the Connemara Pony during their Lifetime.

Michael J. O’Malley is well known to historians of the Connemara breed as the man most responsible for the setting up of the CPBS and the eventual salvation of the pony as a distinct breed. He dedicated his life to preserving, promoting and improving the Connemara Pony.

Blanche Miller (pictured here with Rosenaharley Laurin) will be doing a podcast with

along with her sister Ruth, and they will be discussing British bred Connemara ponies and will be sharing their wealth of knowledge having bred them since the 1950s. A podcast we are all very excited to listen to!
