Info: Purchased from dealer in Essex in March 2008, last documented owner in passport Ms E Austin of Dorset in 2003 and previously Alison Parsons in 2002 of Wiltshire.  Pony lame on foreleg coming off lorry but was sound when viewed last week. Only lame in trot. Concerned about any old injury/chronic lameness that i was not aware of or that was hidden on viewing??  No obvious lumps bumps heat or swelling on any leg.  Lovely dapple grey little horse, quite nervous/anxious though. 

Would love to know anything about his history good or bad, particulally concerning any previous injury as this would save me a fortune in vets investigations, and enable me get him comfortable/ sound ASAP. Understandably I am very concerned about this and really hope to find out something soon.

Info: Last known owner was from Karin Keating, my mum, to a girl in scotland whose name I forget, we sold him about 10 years ago but I took him to wembley HOYS when I was 18 and he was fantastic. Sue Gillingham bought him as a 2 year old from Blanche Miller and we bought him from her.  It would be lovely to hear what he is up to now.

Info: I would like to know the wherabouts of the above pony who I purchased from his breeder Mrs R Millet as a 5 month old Colt and owned him until his 9th year.  I had to part with him as I needed to share costs (baby arrived) and the lady that came forward could not manage him.  Anyway we ended up sharing an Irish Cob and Seamus was part exchanged to the Overa Farm Stud then based in Bradfield St. George but since relocated to Thetford as I had been unable to sell him privately.

I was told that 'Seamus' had gone to a pony club home was given a number but was never able to make contact and sometime after saw him for sale in the Horse and Hound under his stable name of Seamus.  His papers were handed to the Overa Farm Stud and I contacted ECPS at the time to inform them.

I would just like to know who owns him now and if he is ok. he would be approx 14 or 15.

Info: She is owned by her rider Nathan Haynes and is called Minnie, at home. She is very much loved and I located her (through the stud book transfers section) just 20minutes down the road from me!! Nathan is a keen show jumper and Minnie has enabled him to compete with huge success. Recently they won at the Wales and West Show, first out of 90 entrants!!!! Well done, to Nathan and Minnie.

From: Karen Palmer 16/8/04 - Having seen the article in Horse and Hound about Tyan Takara, 12th August, we looked again into the background of our own pony. Nettie has been part of our family for the past 8 years. We bought her from a lady in Suffolk who didn't tell us she was registered until after we had concluded the sale. Our daughter has ridden her constantly throughout this time in local pony club and riding club events and has taken part in distance events. We visited the Clifden Show a few years ago and met Pat Lyne who was delighted to talk us through Nettie's bloodline. Having visited you web site and found her mentioned we thought you might be interested in this grand old and much loved mare, who still thinks she is a spring chicken!
