2026 will run from 1st March to the 30th September 2026

This new series is open to pure, part bred and overheight Connemaras.  All ponies need to be registered in the correct ownership with the BCPS.

As DEFRA no longer allow us to overstamp part bred Connemaras, we now request that, if your part bred Connemara is not already overstamped by the BCPS,  you send in a copy of your ponies passport to Hannah.horler@btinterent.com at time of joining to be eligible to take part in these finals.

The introductory £15 club fee will give you:-

Eligibility to enter the BCPS Dressage Finals – the qualifying route for this remains unchanged – Please click HERE for more information on the Dressage Final and how to qualify.

Our brand new points accumulator Eventing Series, with its end of season awards, very kindly supported by Dodson and Horrell, and also qualification for the 2027 Eventing Finals (details tbc)

EVENTING POINTS :-

You may use your placings from ANY unaffiliated, PC, RC or BE One Day Event at your chosen height (1^st October 2025 – 30^th September 2026)  Proof of your placing needs to be sent to Hannah, our Points Coordinator, to keep the scoreboard up to date – Hannah.horler@btinternet.com

1st place-10 points, 2nd place-9 points, ification route3rd place-8points, 4th place-7points, 5th place-6points, 6th place-5points, 7th place-4 points, 8th-3points, 9th-2points, 10th-1 point.

A 1st to 10th placing or a double clear at any event will also qualify you for the 2027 Eventing Final.

PLEASE NOTE:–  Joining the Performance Club is not a membership of the BCPS.  Therefore does not give membership benefits such as a copy of the Chronicle, reduced fees of various services (eg, overstamping/transfer of ownership) or reduced breed show entries.  Nor does it give voting rights at the AGM.

2027 will run from 1st October 2026 to the 30th September 2027 in line with the Performance Award Scheme calendar – (price increasing to £25)

Also from 2027 a Performance Award Card will be included, which allows you to gain points in many spheres and the possibility of winning some absolutely fabulous trophies and prizes  Please click HERE for the Performance Award Scheme information
